This is a high-ownership operator role where you will help shape how the podcast grows, how content performs, and how Wealth on Your Terms reaches the right audience. You will think, not just execute.

What this role is

You will work closely with the host to turn long-form podcast episodes into a system that consistently drives growth.

• Guest research and outreach
• Content distribution, including clips and short-form video
• Episode breakdowns and storytelling
• Audience growth thinking
• Performance review and iteration

Who you are

You think in audience behavior, not task lists. You can watch an episode and immediately know which 60 seconds stops the scroll, how to package it, how to write the hook, and how to get it in front of the right people.

You bring a bias for action. You test, iterate, and optimize constantly. When something is not working, you say so and bring a better idea.

You have opinions and you are not afraid to share them. This role is for someone who challenges ideas, questions decisions, and speaks up.

What you will be responsible for

Guest research

• Find and build a pipeline of relevant guests across founders, operators, investors, creators, and finance voices
• Look across Canada, North America, and globally
• Go beyond obvious names and understand why each guest fits the audience

Guest outreach

• Write and send guest pitches
• Follow up and manage the outreach pipeline
• Improve response rate over time
• Ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Content breakdown and short-form

Watch full episodes and identify the strongest moments: the hooks, the insights, and the clips that will perform. Select clips, write titles, hooks, and captions, and provide clear creative direction for each piece. Editing is handled by freelancers; your job is the judgment and the brief that makes their work land.

Episode trailers

Select the most compelling moments from each episode and provide direction for trailers that hook the audience, set up the story, and make the listener want to stay through the full episode.

Growth thinking

Think beyond the episode. A single 60-minute conversation should fuel weeks of content across platforms. You should think about what is underperforming and why, what opportunities are missing, and how to reach more of the right people.

Performance and iteration

• Track what content performs
• Identify patterns across episodes
• Bring insights and recommendations
• Interpret results, not just report them

Audience engagement

• Manage comments, DMs, and engagement touchpoints
• Treat audience engagement as a growth lever, not admin work

What we are looking for

Must have

• Strong understanding of content performance on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels
• Ability to watch a podcast and identify strong clip moments
• Strong writing ability across hooks, captions, pitches, and outreach messages
• Genuine interest in finance, wealth, careers, or business content
• Comfort working without step-by-step instructions
• Strong judgment about content and audience behavior
• Ability to interpret performance data and suggest changes
• Clear written communication

Nice to have

• Experience working on a podcast or with a creator
• Guest booking or media outreach experience
• Content editing or short-form video experience
• Familiarity with creator economy or distribution strategy
