Job Description for Emerging Lawyers Mentoring Program 2026 at Baker McKenzie - Asia Pacific, EMEA & Latin America
Baker McKenzie, AbbVie and Trench Rossi Watanabe are offering a mentoring program to support the career development of young lawyers from underrepresented communities.
The opportunity
The program runs from August to November 2026. Selected mentees will take part in:
- Three one-on-one mentoring discussions
- One group mentoring circle
- One soft-skills group training webinar led by Baker McKenzie's Leadership & Learning team
- One career roundtable hosted by AbbVie
Successful candidates are expected to complete all webinars and mentoring discussions.
Who can apply
The program is open to senior law students and lawyers with up to three years' post-qualification experience across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, Europe and Latin America. Both in-house and private-practice lawyers are eligible.
